Laurie A. Trotta “Three fortunate (and talented) filmmakers were whisked off to the Cannes Film Festival following well-earned wins in the Spring 2007 MPM Short Film Contest. Jessica Habie, whose documentary Meet Me Out of the Siege is a compelling look at artists caught in the crossfire of the Palestinian Israeli conflict, was flown to the festival from Israel where she continues her work on Middle Eastern Relations.

The questions each film raises are echoed in another and yet each has a special vision to offer. Relations to each other act as different sides of the same body.
