Laurie A. Trotta “Three fortunate (and talented) filmmakers were whisked off to the Cannes Film Festival following well-earned wins in the Spring 2007 MPM Short Film Contest. Jessica Habie, whose documentary Meet Me Out of the Siege is a compelling look at artists caught in the crossfire of the Palestinian Israeli conflict, was flown to the festival from Israel where she continues her work on Middle Eastern Relations.
